About Praetor Veritas

Praetor Veritas is a technology advisory and engineering studio founded by Denis Zamorski, a cloud and AI technology leader based in the Greater Tampa Bay area.

Denis works at the intersection of enterprise scale and hands-on engineering. As Director of Cloud Services at a regulated payments technology company, he leads a 10-person engineering team and works across an organization of more than 40 engineers, architects, security, and reliability staff. Under his direction, the company's AWS footprint grew from a handful of accounts to more than 170, plus GovCloud, all under PCI, SOC, HIPAA, and NIST compliance. He owns a technology budget exceeding $10M and has sustained 20 percent-plus cost savings through disciplined FinOps.

He is also a builder. Using an AI-native approach, agentic systems, multi-model orchestration, and rigorous evaluation, Denis designs and ships production AI platforms himself, as a hands-on engineer. He built and sold the executive business case for a new AI governance function, bringing the same rigor to emerging technology that he brings to established cloud operations.
